The Adrenaline Vault has composed a newpreviewof TimeGate Studios’ fantasy RTSKohan: Immortal Sovereigns;the article runs through the game’s features and includes a few screenshots.

Gamer’s Hell has a newKohan: Immortal Sovereignspreview up (I’d provide a direct link, but their site cgi doesn’t seem to like that…), whichincludes a considerable amount of screenshots.

Sean Clark sent in a linkto the official Kohan:Immortal Sovereigns site, which has a “Gone Gold” announcementfor the Win32 version of the fantasy-themedreal-time strategy game. Hopefully this means that the beta andrelease forLoki’s Linuxport ofKohan aren’t far behind.

TimeGate Studios has posted a newKohan: Immortal Sovereignsdevelopment diary entryfor the month of March at Gamespy. Onething of note is Ian Klimon’s revelation that Kohan isonly “days” away from going gold (for Win32, although presumablyLoki’s Linux code basewill get the final stamp of approval shortly thereafter). The rest of the diaryconcerns strategies players can use throughout the fantasy RTS.

Kohan is being ported to Linux by Loki

The official Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns site updatedthis week to link a brief interviewwith the dev team which was conducted by Gameznet (who alsopreviewed the game recently); the questionsmainly concern what makes Kohan unique among its peers in the RTS genre. Kohan is being ported to Linux by Loki.

Andrew Henderson sent in an e-mail regarding his resignation from Loki Software:

Today (Friday) is my last day at Loki. I left things in good hands,though. My current project here at Loki, Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns,has been handed off to Stephane Peter. Stephane will be the new projectlead on Kohan, and I’m sure he’ll do a great job.

It’s a pretty good bet that my lokigames.com e-mail is going to vanishpretty soon, so anyone who needs to contact me can reach me at my LinuxGames e-mail (prometheus@linuxgames.com) from here on out. • PC Gameworld.com has their ownpreview of Kohan, which describes itsunique nuances of gameplay. Eleven screenshots are also included.
