Wolpers sent in news on a new release of searchtool, a linux server browser.
Searchtool is a server browser for Internet games. It features the ability to ping servers, download a new serverlist, search for player(s), manage your favourite servers, connect to server of choice, and more. The intention was to create a new server tool for Linux. As a ‘side-effect’ this software also runs on other platforms as well because it is written in Java.
This release claims to add support for Unreal Tournament. I assume they mean 2003, but it doesn’t specify.

Bioware has updated their Neverwinternights Linux client page again:
[Nov 29 2002] Linux development this week has been focused primarily on audio. We have found that sound in general has been taking longer than we had hoped, but such is development. Progress is being made, and we will continue working on the sound until all the remaining issues are resolved.
Well, at least they’re keeping us informed.
