Blue’s News received a release date for the Windows version of Penumbra: Black Plague, the first-person survival horror game being developed by Frictional Games: February 12^th, 2008. The first game in the series, Penumbra: Overture, was released for Linux just last year (demo | retail).  Unfortunately, we don’t have a release date for the Linux version of Black Plague; there’s discussion in this forum thread, but the developers who post there haven’t offered an ETA just yet.
