Archive Games on Linux

Archive Entertainment has just released a Linux version of the Archive Games distribution system. Thanks to the great folks over at the OpenLieroX project, our first downloadable title on the Linux release is OpenLieroX. Archive Games is an application that presents a library of downloadable games, with easy one-click updates for each. We’re working to build up this library, so we’re very interested to hear from fellow game authors who would like to join our distribution platform.

OpenLieroX is a real-time multiplayer 2D shooter depicting a deathmatch between worms.

My project Starez looks a bit like Archive Games. It’s also a program that makes it easier to install games, but it primarily focuses on Linux. We’ve just made our first release. If anyone is interested:
    svn checkout https://cvs.codeyard.net/svn/StoomBoot/tags/client/1.0-rc1 starez-client
