Savage 2 Delay
S2 Games posted an update today on the Linux port of Savage 2, the mixed-genre sequel to Savage: The Battle for Newerth:
I wanted to keep the Linux community updated: The Linux client will be delayed shortly after the Windows launch. More details to follow in the next couple weeks.
The game will be released for Windows on January 16, 2008.

So much for “Linux client at launch”, which was posted on their webpage for such a long time.
Oh well :) Doesn’t really matter — Sav2 looks fun to play. Looking forward actually playing the copy I bought like a year ago or something crazy like that. I looked briefly at the windows demo, and it looked pretty fun. Very neat gameplay.
