ATI Display Driver 7.12
December 21st, 2007 by CrusaderAMD has released new Catalyst display drivers for Linux; the release notes delineate the following changes:
- A memory leak is no longer noticed when running OpenGL applications
- Running X -configure no longer results in a segmentation fault in the fglrx driver
- fglrxinfo no longer reports OpenGL Render string: as Mesa GLX Indirect on systems containing an ATI Rialto AGP series of product

You forgot to mention how they added bugs to this new driver. 1680×1050 resolution support was removed which I happen to use.
