Wine 0.9.50

Version 0.9.50 of Wine has been released. This version of the popular free implementation of Windows on Unix has the following changes:

  • Completed I/O completion.
  • Improved user credentials management, including Mac Keychain support.
  • More Valgrinding.
  • Lots of bug fixe

    Has anyone been able to install and run WoW and GoW with Wine-0.9.50?

    What’s more valgrinding? You need valgrind more often because it crashes a lot?

    Valgrind is a memory profiling tool, good for reducing memory and looking for memory leaks.

    War Craft 3 Battle.net connection works again (it was broken from .46 through .49). I haven’t hosted a game yet though, just connected and got in chat.
