The Linux Game Tome pointed outthat a Simon Parzer has released a Linux port ofCave Story, a Japaneseadventure game that’s received a lot of critical acclaimover the years:

Here’s the native Linux version of Cave Story. As I’m not allowed to releasethe source code there could be problems with certain distribution. Generally astandard Linux with libstdc++ 6.x and SDL 1.2 should be able to run it.
