Berusky

May 16th, 2007 by Crusader

Berusky, a logic game based on an ancient puzzle named Sokoban, has been released for Linux under the GPL. The original concept of moving boxes in a maze has been expanded with new logic items such as explosives, stones, special gates, and so on. Additionally, up to five bugs can cooperate and be controlled by the player.

I’m currently enjoying a similar game to this on my GP2X called Blips -> http://www.willemssoft.be/index.php?main=5&sub=6&action=productdetails&id=222

You use Autotools for the source and then the seperate game data download has the paths hardcoded in /usr/share/berusky!

berusky.ini might be ok for Windblows but /var/games/berusky.ini should be ~/.beruskyrc.

I haven’t played it yet because I’m still contemplating making all the necessary alterations to install it within my home folder.
