Now that 64-bit is mainstream, I'm moving to a 128-bit architecture. It's about USD 10 to buy a Sega DreamCast (Hitachi Super-H is a 128-bit CPU in the Dreamcast), so I think I'll wait for a real purse-snatcher from a startup that is only accessible to wealthy people/thieves. That'll give me another good 3-years of superior trolling, then I'll move to a 256-bit artchitecture. ( Anyone try installing Linux on a Matrox Parhelia or nVidia graphics accelerator? )

Sincerily,
The Alpha Troll

ps: Those that deny the 64-bit architecture are doomed to repeat it!

I only recently started running a 64-bit architecture install, so these issues are all new to me :)

I had some difficulties getting it to work on amd64 architecture, but after some great help of a developer (on the IRC channel #alienarena at EFNet) I got it working.

I created a thread on the game's forum explaining how to install it from source and I added some constructive feedback for the developers: http://corent.proboards42.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=crarena&thread=1170094541
