As a cedega user who WAS banned, and has not ever used 3rd party automation software, I ask those of you making assumptions to consider the possibility of erroneous bans.

Consider this: Are you using any reasoning or logic that would help you to distinguish between erroneous bans occurring VS not occurring?

The obvious answer is that you are not.

So you must realize that you are forming a completely unfounded opinion, and are really contributing nothing of value to the discussion here.

Just as a side-note, some cedega users are being unbanned after closer inspection:

I still have not read any reports of Wine users being banned.

Blizzard reps have said that there’s no violation of their terms of service just by playing under WINE. They also claim that they’ve contacted Transgaming to resolve any issues that may exist with people getting banned. Most likely it’s just a case of Cedega and WINE users who were doing something else in violation of the terms of service.

Wine has supported WoW since day one. There have been ZERO reports of bannings on the Wine side this past week.

I know that crossover office should support games like WoW and that most of the game should work with the lastest version of wine. Are the users of these wine versions banned too ?
