Payback Available (GP2X)

Updated for the GP2X with all new graphics, sound, special effects and music creating an awesome next gen handheld game which will quite literally blow you away – with a shotgun, a rocket launcher or even a tank.

I wonder why the Linux version of Payback was canceled, it was in the advanced developement afaik.
That’s shame, maybe there going to be some emulator for GP2X.

So they spent 11 months porting Payback to the GP2X. Why not do a little more developing and give it to us on our Linux PCs. It looks lovely and it’s in 3D (even the GBA version was 3D) so scale it up and let’s have it :) It’s on the Mac and Amiga!
Does it use SDL? I imagine so.

It doesn’t use SDL. It was developed with GP2X Minimal library, and It use a lot of ASM ARM code & GP2X’s Hardware.
So, I think is not easy to port this game to PC.
