NVIDIA has released NVPerfKit, autility for profiling and debugging OpenGL applications. There are severalcomponents:- Instrumented Driver
- Interfaces with graphics API and GPU to provide performance counterdata
- Automatically installed by NVPerfKit installer
- NVPerfSDK
- API for accessing GPU signals in your applications
- Sample code and helper classes for OpenGL(tm) applications
- NVIDIA Developer Control Panel and instrumented driver
- GLExpert
- Debug OpenGL usage errors and performance issues
There are also user guides for NVPerfKit in general and GLExpert in particular.

Only the instrumented driver (1.0-9640) and the NVPerfSDK are included.

I bet these tools have as good quality as other Nvidia releases. How long before you get 0wned through these?

to see if this helps out the people writing opensource drivers w/ DRI for NVidia cards. (It’s something in French, Neavoux or something but *know* I mispelled that ;() That is to say, perhaps something evil.. erehum I mean interesting could be done with it lol.
