SuperTuxKart is an enhancement project aiming to build on the foundations of the original TuxKart game by Steve Baker (which was in turn inspired by the Mario Kart series). Several new features have been added already, such as new characters, tracks and a new interface. The game shows a lot of promise even if it does not exactly deliver the level of fun Mario Kart (or, for that matter, Wacky Wheels) enthusiasts might expect just yet.
