Warzone 2100 Resurrection 2.0.4
August 25th, 2006 by MarvVersion 2.0.4 of Warzone Resurrection, an enhanced version of Warzone 2100, has been released. Warzone Resurrection’s source code was liberated in December of 2004. Changes in this release include:
- Several security fixes
- Major bugfixes
- Playing with 16bpp possible (graphics glitches may occur)
- An improved AI based on original version 1.10
- Extended scripting engine

This game has been open source for a while. It seems development so far has been very slow (I know they’ve been doing a lot of code cleanup). It seems it’s finally picking up steam. A lot of potential in this one – wish them the best. Very excited to see what’s added.
