sli sucks in linux anyway, stop complaining about crossfire, there are better things to complain about wtf

xv support cry me river, oh please really if that is only problem you have go get a life, there are alternatives…

they, ati, try and try and improve and DO improve, still almost nothing but printf “b17|-| moan” over again. word to teh wise: happy programmer is a good programmer. get more flies with honey. MEH

So I’m thinking:
Oh goody, I have to use the 32 bit version of linux to play games AND I get to NOT be able to watch video again.

Then I find someone who found topic number 737-22852 and here is the “workaround”.

ATI Engineering has been advised of this issue and is investigating. Any updates will be published when they become available.

And in the end it turns out:
No Xgl on x86_64 and no XV.
hmmm sounds like, for me any way, it isn’t anything close to being a driver.

Seems to be equivalent to the ‘copy old libGL’ trick. Well, at least it’s known, so we might see a regular fix soon. :^)

I have a better chance of getting hit by a lightning bolt while carry a SLIed intel integrated chipset than this thing working with Linux crossfire.

Seems they beat Nvidia to the punch with xorg 7.1
Congratualtions ATI (er AMD I guess)

Anybody wanna buy my Nvidia 6150 motherboard cheap? I can’t even get the linux Nvidia driver to work with it.
