This posting forum sucks. And you can quote my IP on that. I just buy the games. Talking about it is a convenience, not a necessity when purchasing or playing.

And with 1 hit wonders like the GeForce 2 guy post, I prefer not to respond. It just makes me sad to know he’s breathing my fk’ing air.

I haven’t used windows since 1999. And I play everything. Do the math, and have a nice day.

In 2000 – 2001 you used to see games like this with 60+ posts or something…. Is it that Linux gamers have more games to choose from than in 2000 or is it that there are fewer die-hard linux gamers?

Finished the game while it was still beta, and I think the replay value is probably nil, so in essance I’ll be receiving a plastic disc in a few days…

The fact that I finished the game, however, means it was a great game, and I highly reccomend it to anyone who wants a different kind of game for linux.

It has a story, and it is sort of an fps, but not really. It’s hard to describe. Download the demo if you haven’t already, and buy this game once you see how good it is.

One spoiler though. The real game isn’t as hard as the demo. In the demo you are playing an advanced level with basic tools.

In the real game you have better weapons, so if you like your games hard to impossible, better set the setting to high. :)

It makes sense that there’s still a lot of unsold stock lying around, but you aren’t as likely to find such cards at a retail outlet. You might, but better video cards don’t cost much more. These cards still have their use, but not for playing modern 3D games. Think about it, you’re trying to play a 2005 game with a low-end video card from 2000-2001.

When I bought a new computer four years ago, it came with a GeForce 4 Ti4600. These days you can’t buy anything older than a FX.
