That is so subjective it aint funny. You have to do a poll, at least, to do this topic justice.I can think of many open/free-sourced games that I want to play more than anything-fps-like-shooter-rpg:ish or not. (Counting Oblivion in that category).

I was impressed for this type of graphical support in it's first beta release. Very efficient use of the engine.
Subtle shading would be nice but I haven't cehcked it out since first release.

I really think Open Souce games are the future as they allow for the gamer to really optimize. Less complaints are better.

Great game... I discovered it thanks to the Newsforge article and I've been playing it since. It takes a bit of getting into, because I was used to Q3... and the RTS elements need to be learned.

But hey... play as a team, and it's fantastic. Shame about the occasional saboteurs that show up, but still.

Really rocks. Has a great community. And team-awareness... ahhhh.. this is not a game like
- "Hey! come with me"
- "no!" (or something worse)

This game just works .. you see smaller aliens preparing a trap, you just join them. Camping? - part of the tactic. Camping human can be overridden by alien horde :P. Camping alien.. well by flamer :P

This is just great - if i'm bleeding i look for other aliens (together we will live little longer)

And hey.. it runs on linux, it's GPL. it will be better :P
