...or maybe you consider it normal to have to use an older libGL and driver file with your newer driver.

as long as you keep away from glsl and similar new stuff, the performance is quite ok for the ati driver, but as soon as you begin using those nifty stuff framerates drop deeply underground in many important cases :(]]></description>

Stability is also great. At work we use nvidia only, since we rely on cutting edge OpenGL extensions, but ATI is really getting good. It&#039;s a good at-home solution. Haven&#039;t checked the supported extensions, though, so maybe their not yet good enough for at-work stuff.]]></description>
