I think that's a problem with Xgl - have you tried it in vanilla xorg?

I have multiple joysticks that I use for flight/space sims. I have a CH fighter stick USB, CH Pro Throttle USB, and CH Pro Pedals USB. The demo seems to only allow 1 joystick which really puts a damper on flight control for me. A game can be very good but if the controls/input methods are not configurable enough for users it would be a shame.

Anyone know if they plan to add the feature to handle multiple joysticks during gameplay?

"I ran the beta on an Althon XP 2400+ with a Geforce 5900XT and 512 MB of RAM in *maximum detail* at 1024x768. That's not a new PC by any standards, but it still handled the game quite well. In spite of the fact that the game is easily one of the most beautiful games to grace Linux"

You do have to remember that when the game was released for Windows that was top of the line, so its no surprise that it handles the game well.

I was delighted to be part of this beta test. It's a great port, and a great game. The learning curve is a bit high on this one, but the replayability is unmatched by other Linux games. The universe is huge, and there are a multitude of things to do in this game. In spite of the fact that the game is easily one of the most beautiful games to grace Linux, I'd say that LGP managed to squeeze a lot out of this code. From what I've read about the Windows version, this port may even be better optimized than the Windows release. Congrats to lgp-michael, dolphin, and everyone else that cranked this release out. Mine is on the way in the mail right now! I hope that everyone else considers ordering it as well.
