The beta didn’t have it but does the final release have voice chat for Linux?

Apparently the Windows version of this patch has been recalled due to “a problem with the widescreen functionality that may harm a user’s monitor.” Anyone know if this recall applies to the Linux version as well?

Before I try the dual core improvements I would like to benchmark the old version - BUT HOW?
What keys do I have to press for the console (german keyboard) and whats the timedemo command?

I’ve played v1.1 through (lieutenant difficulty) to the Nexus Hub Tunnels, at which point the main lift at the start of the level gets stuck 2 seconds into the level and no more progress is possible. Is anyone else seeing this? I sent a note to ttimo but it would be helpful if anyone else can test this out.

The FTP server is really slow, use idsoftware’s bittorrent:
