I bought Savage because it had Linux support and figured I really wanted to check it out. I’ll definitely buy Savage 2 when it’s out if we have a Linux port, and I’m considering pre-order.

This is a game I just have to get. Savage 1 is one of the best games ever for Linux.

hi..

so….its wonderful we are getting this game for linux, but I can’t help but wonder some why ( since faik original savage game WAS opengl ) directX was used..I suppose they had no intention of supporting linux and then changed their minds but it would make for interseting dinner conversation I guess what the reason was,,,,

is that they will get a pretty much automatic port to osx out of this as well. or does osx support the newest directx?

…the sad side is, that we have to buy a Beta-Version, due there is no real beta test for the Linux version :(
