xBaK 0.0.5, a game engine that allows you to play the classic Sierra computer RPG “Betrayal at Krondor”, has been released. You will need the original data files from the game to use this engine. Fixes and new features include the following:
- LBL_*.DAT files and REQ_*.DAT files can be loaded.
- Initial implementation of some GUI widgets is finished.

Luckily I’ve that freely given away version of BaK on one CD, even though I’ve sold the original.
For those that do not understand, BaK was freely distributed out in 1997 to promote Betrayal at Antara, but still it wasn’t freeware - if you now can’t get it from anywhere where it is legally distributed (bound by contracts), you can’t copy it freely from your friend either. Nice, huh?
