Stendhal 0.43
January 24th, 2006 by MarvA minor release of Stendhal has been announced. Changes and fixes in this release include:
- Configuration files are stored now in ~/stendhal.
- Carmen at Semos now sells potions and antidotes.
- Venomous rats are now weaker. Their poison hurts less and the antidote gives immunity for two minutes.
- Inventory bug was worked around by disabling left button dragging.
- Temple, Blacksmith, Kanmararn entrace, Or’ril dungeon level 3, and Jail areas were added along with six new creatures.

I really enjoy this game for he most part. The map size and idea are very good. I recommend you give it a try if you haven’t already.
The thing that bothers me about it is the lag. I have a very good connection but I still jerk around qhith what appears to be the server driving my character instead of my keyboard directly. Still I get used to it quickly and just give 1 second to change directions when moving.

Server is hosted on my personal machine, and I mean personal home machine that is really shared :)
Using a better connection would really improve gameplay.
