An evil sacrifice is to remove playability and design for repetitively impressive visual stimulation.

Good games are built efficiently; entertainment requiring beyond 64MB of RAM and a 400MHz processor at modest and humble playability models. Consider the game data in an anlernative software engine that is scaled down, and is compatible with the software engine shipped. This to say, more control to the holder and owner of the title to said software.

Next we'll hear is Lemmings requiring 1GHz and 256MB RAM, and requiring a Microsoft operating-system which itself requires 512MB RAM. GNU HURD, here we came.

By the way, has anyone seen the original demonstration video for the first implementations of Halo 1 on the Myth engine? I thought it was more fantastic than their change to the first-perspective HALO engine that it is known now. Oh well.

I think it would be a much better move, market-wise, to call the game "Enemy Territory: The War of the Worlds" and make it losely resembling to the book. Especially since the recent movie on it.
Just a suggestion to the market dept. Don't forget to send a share if you take it. ;)

Really now, the marcians VS earthians theme and the all story looks so cool, and I'm sure it will feel cool as well.
I find Enemy Territory to be so much better than other internet multiplayer FPS. Instead of hide and snipe, it is really about action. I think the game is very underrated, and I hope this sequel will make it more popular. I'll definitively gonna buy the game -- if available for Linux, which I'm pretty sure it'll be!

I still haven't heard if Linux will be supported with this or not. I guess so since the news is on this site?

Too bad not a free download like the original Enemy Territory. Still have people at work who organize a few hours of ET once a week.

Wow! Raining flippin' fish! :-)

If those screenshots hold up in game on my AMD64 box, this is definitely going to be on my shopping list. Whoa!

Cheers,
