		<description>Edit your /etc/X11/xorg.conf
In your "device" section put in:
        Option  "AccelMethod" "EXA"
In your "extensions" section make sure you have:
        Option  "Composite" "Enable"
        Option  "RENDER"    "Enable"
Now, if you are using KDE you can use the composite extension natively or something (I am not sure, check your docs).
For everyone else do:
xcompmgr -fF -I-.002 -O-.003 -D6 -cC -t-5 -l-6 -r5

and you get shadows, smooth window dragging, fade ins and outs and all other goodies. It works really well with my Radeon 9000. </description>
