October 8th, 2005 by CrusaderPhoronix has posted a fourth quarter 2005 driver comparison article, with multi-game benchmarks for NVIDIA’s latest graphics card drivers:
With the public release of the NVIDIA Linux 1.0-8XXX display drivers now coming toward the end of October, we felt it was time to offer another driver comparison of all the drivers released in roughly the past year, as we haven’t done any mass comparisons since early 2005.

How long till the drivers will be fully compatible with GeForce 4000 MX and below? It gives all sorts of problems when I have to use hours depending on which distro I’m on to try and downgrade the drivers. This is horrible and has to stop!
