The free implementation of Windows under Unix, Wine, has released a new developer version. The Changelog for 990731 includes:

- Separation of spec files into their respective DLLs.
- Still more painting fixes.
- Many SHELL and COMMDLG improvements.
- Lots of bug fixes.
