Icculus SITREP
July 27th, 2005 by TimeDoctorRyan “And his name was ICCULUS!” Gordon updated his .plan (finger icculus@icculus.org) once again with some updates:
ArmyOps:
Yeah, yeah, it’s coming…Postal 2:
If you bought the “Meal Deal #3: Minority Combo” disc from gopostal.com, it has installers for Mac, Linux, and Windows included. This went to press today, so those will be shipping sometime soon.
If you have a Windows-only AW disc, you can use these installers:Apocalypse Weekend installer for MacOS X:
http://0day.icculus.org/postal2/postal2aw-macosx-installer.zipApocalypse Weekend installer for Linux:
http://0day.icculus.org/postal2/postal2aw-linux-installer.tar.bz2The installers will patch your Postal 2 install to 1409.1 if needed.
Unreal Tournament 2004:
Spent some more time with GL_EXT_framebuffer_object, and fixed some of the remaining ut2004 issues…the blocky shadows were caused by rendering the final shadow textures as GL_NEAREST instead of GL_LINEAR…now they match the Direct3D renderer’s appearance.I also got all the UnrealScript-based render targets to stop drawing upside down, which fixes most of the rest of the issues.
If I could just figure out why the Hellbender license plate is corrupted, I’d be golden.

Fantastic. Except that the link to the Linux installer for AW doesn’t work.
I have been looking for the installer/binary off and on for a while now. The only place it seems I would be able to get it is if I buy it from LGP.

Go get it.

Just bought the game because of Gordo. Thanks.

Does anyone know the status of GL_EXT_framebuffer_object-support on ATI drivers?

Bought the minority pack today, and can’t wait to play it!

Bought it, finished it, one slight issue. The character has no head- at all- at any point in the game. Not terrible, but a bit odd. Also some random segfault crashes at certain change-scenes.

Anyone know where to get the Linux installer/binaries for Postal 2: Share The Pain? I have the windows(blech) CD for STP and I can’t install the AW expansion pack without first installing STP.
