MX518 logitech_applet Update
April 18th, 2005 by CrusaderlinuX-gamers.net has posted a patch for Brad Hards’ logitech_applet which adds support for the Logitech MX518 mouse. logitech_applet enables Linux users to increase the resolution utilized by the optical sensor.

Doesn’t the MX518 have 2 buttons that are there to change the resolution of the mouse on-the-fly? For example when going from mounted-machine-gun-spray-bullets-everywhere-at-400dpi to sniper-rifle-accurately-blow-the-head-off-him-at-1600dpi?

Kind of defeats the purpose of buying the mouse for linux if this feature isn’t supported.
