MESQUITE, Texas – March 22, 2005 – In August 2005, QuakeCon, the largest video game festival and tournament in North America, will celebrate a decade of “peace, love, and rockets” with an event that promises video game fans the greatest four days of gaming and entertainment. The 10th Annual QuakeCon will once again draw thousands of people from around world to the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, from Aug. 11-14, and is open to video game fans worldwide free of charge.
Now I ask how many people still really play one of the Quake series games out there.

I still play Quake, Quake 2 and Quake 3 (and the expansion packs), as well as Doom 1, 2 and 3 and Enemy Territory.
There is much to be said about the graphics and other features of newer games, but solid quality gameplay will never be bested.

I still play quake1,2 and somtimes 3(Urban Terror and Navy Seals). There is alway the gfx mods and the retexturing projects that make the games look alot better.

I do play QuakeWorld as an european.
QuakeWorld is an official Quake add-on thanks to which internet experience and the physics are changed to be the best.
