UT2004 v3355 Released

February 22nd, 2005 by TimeDoctor

Ryan “I *HEART* Alix Olson” Gordon updated his internet home page to let everyone know that Unreal Tournament 2004 version 3355 is available for Linux. This version requires the ECE bonuspack to be installed before you install this patch, if you want the bonus pack at all. The complete list of core-UT2004 changes is here. This is Ryan’s list of Linux version update highlights:

  • UTV is now supported on Linux and Mac
  • Bits of the editor package (NOT UnrealEd!) are now included on Linux and MacOS, which improves mod compatibility.
  • Linux/amd64 version framerate shouldn’t suck like it did in 3339 anymore.

On a slightly unrelated topic, is there any info on installing the Editor’s Choice mod disks on Linux?
