Postal 2 Update
January 17th, 2005 by CrusaderlinuX-gamers.net received the following response from Ryan “icculus” Gordon regarding the Linux port of Postal 2:
The game is actually done, there’s just been some trouble finding a production facility to create the discs. I don’t have a timeframe when it’ll be available, but hopefully soon. –ryan.

I bought it a year ago or so. Glad to see I’ll be able to corrupt myself with it now.

I would pay for 1 downloadable iso, hell give me a place to buy the key and I am sure I can find the iso myself…

… I prodded RWS less than a week ago about this, and they said that it’s really really nearly done this time…
Ya I know, I just talked to the guys doing it in the UK, everything is done but the manual and they will get us copies soon!

I doubt most linux users care about the flash of the packaging… Downloadable iso’s would work fine for most users, and for the ones that don’t have high speed, I doubt they’d mind a plain jane CD with a b&w insert… Hyperion used to sell stuff that way, and I diddn’t mind it so much… I just wanted to play the darned game!!
BTW, Thank you so much Icculus for spending the time porting the game… I for one, am one happy penguin :O).
