Darwinia Linux Beta Soon

November 13th, 2004 by Crusader

Introversion Software, the developers of Uplink, sent in the following announcement:

Darwinia, Introversion’s second title, is now being ported to Linux and we would appreciate some help testing it. We would like to encourage interested LinuxGames readers to come on over to http://www.darwinia.co.uk/betatest and sign up for the beta test phase 1. The goal will be to test the demo level of Darwinia and to check hardware- and Linux distribution compatibility. More information about Darwinia can be found at http://www.darwinia.co.uk.

Darwinia is about a tribe of video game sprites trapped in a modern 3d game world; screenshots can be found here.

Really like the graphics. Stills are nicer than Doom3 in many ways

Looks stunning. A mixture of The Sentinel (Geoff Crammond) and Tron.
