Does this mean icculus has finished the port then, or is it still a test beta?

If it is a finished port, I hope icculus releases a stand-alone client.

Is it worth a leap-of-faith buy? I love Quake{1|2|3], Unreal, SoF, etc. I have played (and liked that other similar one… can’t remeber the name but you can fly around in planes and tanks).

Has anyone tried this with the new ATI drivers yet?

I am very disappointed from the TuxGames attitude ! It is still a beta version, the sound does not work well, and some graphical glitches are still inside this version.
For 45 $, you got à 20$ Windows version and a CD-R containing a beta 2 version.
I am fed up with the LGP/Tuxgames monopoly and their game pricing. We would like to see more Linux native games and more companies involving in Linux port.
Every one knows that Ryan from Icculus is a lazy man that won’t finish the work done on Medal of Honor.
I am now considering the Winex Solution !

I’d like to ask Mr. Simms if this port is finalized or it is still beta. If it’s still beta, what does icculus need to be able to finalize this port? I have no problems with monetarily supporting this effort if technically possible to do so.
In regard to Ryan Gordon being lazy… That just sucks. He’s the hardest working homo sapien that I know of. I know of no other entity that can compare with this one man when it comes to porting games to linux.
So, the question remains. Is this the final version of MOHAA or the beta with critical loading bugs as was previously posted? If the latter, what do you need to get it up to spec?

I noticed that MOHAA is no longer in Icculus’ plan. I hasn’t been there for a while now. I suspect that there won’t be any other releases beyond beta 2. This isn’t all that different from the Serious Sam games, except that Tuxgames didn’t try to sell those.
