It's a great news!!!

I always hoped something could happen in regard of releasing a Linux version of Unfinished Business, JA2 Gold and more recently Wildfire. Sadly no one really dared to make a new deal to have further Jagged Alliance games ported over Linux (even on a royalty only deal). I have no clue who would legally own JA2 Linux source code. I'm willing to release the existing Jagged Alliance 2 for Linux source code, but I would need approval from the current owner of JA2, which is now Strategy First.

Unfortunately, I don't think my current employment contract allow me to work on any other game projects. However, if anyone have any question on how to port this game, feel free to ask me. It will be a real pleasure for me to answer. I still know a bit about the code base and I remember well the troubles we had. My email address is still mpinard at tribsoft dot com, even if there's no longer any website at www.tribsoft.com.
