March 6th, 2004 by MarvThe online multiplayer tactical warfare game, netPanzer, has been updated to release 0.1.5. Changes in this release include the following:
- Emergency bugfix: mapcycling was actually broken
- Fixed bug where pressing “m” while chatting would toggle minimap display
- Added an icon in .xpm format

Awesomely addictive game. The graphics are nice, bit could use some improvement. Nice explosions. :)

i’m running readhat9. i downloaded netpanzer-0.1.5-1.fr.i386.rpm and
netpanzer-data-0.1.5-1.fr.i386.rpm.
tried to install but depend
physfs-0.1. and SDL_ttf-2.0.
sdl installed fine but physfs 0.1 failed. i tried physfs 0.1.9 and 1.0 but no luck. netpanzer still wanted 0.1 which doesn’t like my machine. after 1 hour i gave up. too bad because the game looked real cool on their website. nice screen shots. oh well, guess i’ll play some bzflag. hopefully the next version will work for us redhats. :(
