  • A Petition for Matrox Parhelia for full-featured Linux drivers has been setup.
  • JadeWare has announced the release of the tools’s source code for Halloween.These tools can be used to create new maps/objects for this game.

    I like the idea of the Matrox petition, but I imagine that it would have more impact if run through a spell-checker. :(

    You may as well send that petition to /dev/null. Matrox won’t even release full-featured (DX9) drivers for _Windows_. I wouldn’t expect Linux to get better treatment, unfortunately…

    Matrox was my primary choice for video cards up through the G400.

    They simply aren’t able to/won’t provide a modern 3D core in their chips and their driver quality has languished. NV makes some inexpensive cards that work wonderfully in Linux and will continue to get my money.
