announed the GameStorm AMD64technology which boils down to a bootable Linux CD that runs America’s Army on the AMD Athlon 64 processor. - RAD Game Tools released a beta, command-line version of the
Bink VideoPlayer for Linux a little while ago. Most notably, this will play those NWN cutscenes. - A reader pointed out Six Games That Push the Limits of What The BlenderGame Engine is Capable of.
- A representative of Oddlabs wrote in to announce Tribal Trouble , their Java/LWJGL-based strategy game that will support Linux and have a demo released by the end of the year.
- The alpha 2 release of the OpenML SDK has been released. OpenML is astandard that aims to rival DirectX.
- A reader pointed out the Valve Software Linux Server Boycott , a harsh “no client, we won’t run servers” petition/boycott.

I look forward to this one. I did not see any real information, but hopefully this game does not rely on an internet connection for play.
