I just downloade the Savage Linux Demo yesterday but the game doesn’t work right for me. The game starts up but the backgound is all gray and the cursor turns into a gray square which is hard to fine. I did manage to start a game but its unplayable because everything is either gray or blue and text is just gray blocks. I have a Radeon Mobility 7500 on a Dell Inspiron 4150, runing 2.4.22 w/ latest dri drivers.

It’s good to have options for download, but I am still waiting for tuxgames stock to arrive before I buy it.

I might as well help 2 organizations that support linux games, rather than 1 and eb games or gamestop. I don’t know those people. They haven’t helped the community one pissant ioda. So fuckem.

Yes, tuxgames is more expensive for this title. But, guess what, they will be here tommorrow when I purchase from them. If ebgames and and gamestop are here tommorrow- and not tuxgames, how the fuck will that help me. It won’t. So, do what you want. My money goes there to the tux.

I’d like to say “thank you” for listing up a couple other stores besides TuxGames. While I know TuxGames provides a valuable service to the community by selling Linux games, it’s foolish for gamers to go out of their way to get a worse deal.

60 000 is not a whole lot. I hope they get more downloads soon as this game really rocks and deserve to be a big hit.

The game is actually $40 if you buy it online from savage, not $50. Pretty big mistake as $40 will more likely entice people. Gets you the cd key and access to the linux OR windows download + manual. Good deal.
