UT2004 will support Linux (both client and server) as well. As with UT2003, Linux support will be included in the box with UT2004. This time we’ll make sure it gets mentioned on the box.
Unreal Tournament 2004 is the latest title in the series of first-person shooters; a trailer for the game wasreleased earlier this week:

” In case you also weren’t aware of this: the Windows version of UT2004 will include native 64-bit support for AMD Athlon 64. Tim Sweeney and Ryan Gordon demonstrated the 64-bit version of UT2004 at today’s AMD64 launch event in San Francisco.”
What about 64 bit Linux??? will there be support for that too??

This is great; UT2003 was a really fun game, just hope this ti4600 can handle 2004.

lets hope they release it with 64bit support, because my current machine won’t run ut2004, and the athlon64 is my next choice

I must admit, I tried UT 2003 and was bored within 1hr of playing it, but I’ll probally buy this anyway, just to support them on the Linux font, providing there is some way of letting them know I purchased the game for the Linux port, otherwise no way.
The vehicles look cool, I would be great if you could use them, ast least it would add a new dimension to the usuall shoot them and run.
Just got to convince the wife that I need to upgrade my pc ;)

It is also very nice that Epic is very serious about supporting Linux and the Linux community. Mad props to Epic!

What? No 64bit or Alpha support for linux? Those motherf*ckers! I for one will be boycotting this and all future Epic games, enough is enough.
