Seems they use S3tc (can be disabled I know), and the game complains it “can’t allocate AGP memory”
I won’t buy it. The readme says more or less this; We recommend you use the closed nvidia driver.

I emailed tuxgames about the delay. They said something about a shipping holdup since it’s going from the US to the UK, and back to the US(in my case) again. I don’t know if it’s in regard to DHL getting bitchslapped, but I would guess it’s a good probability. Michael would be in a better position to give a timeline on shipment.

S2games has really lowered the barrier of friction with this game since you can buy/download it and play for all time. I’ll still support tuxgames on this one though, because they’ve done more for gaming than the newcomers have. Semper Fi.

Mini review:

Overall awsome game, Though I understand how someone could call it lacking. The game itself is so much fun. But it is hard to get started. No tutorial, no bots. You just have to start playing on the the with no experience. Can be hard to start out because of this, and it does leave you with a “lacking” type feeling.

That said once you get going this game is like nothing I have ever played. It like the team based fps stratagy of counter strike, but with more purpose, longer matches, and someone on your team coordinating your side from a rts viewpoint. Like cs is can be really bad if your team is a bunch of knobs, but when you are on a good team it is so much fun.

The delay from Tuxgames is still going on.
I waited 2 weeks for my games. I dunnon if this is a problem from TuxGames or Freight companies.

I pre-ordered the game from tux-games and havent gotten it yet.Was wondering if anyone got their’s yet from tux or what the hold up is??
