Is there a way to change the Fast Writes and SBA settigs in the NVidia agp driver? If so do they help anything?

my /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status says:
Status: Enabled
Driver: NVIDIA
AGP Rate: 4x
Fast Writes: Disabled
SBA: Disabled

but the /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/card files says:
Fast Writes: Supported
SBA: Supported
AGP Rates: 4x 2x 1x
Registers: 0x1f000217:0x1f000104

Thanks

I have installed it from 3dgamers. No errors.

http://www.3dgamers.com/dl/games/wolfensteinet/et-linux-2.56-update.x86.run.html

In the game though, it seems that the medic and covert ops are damn near bulletproof. The FedOps dies after 3 hits from a mp40. And various other things that are a bit confusing at first. Actually, I'm still confused. I'm attempting not to get shot in the first place, but it's a bit hard.

It has made my skill level take a kick to the shin, but I think it adds to the challenge. Very nice game. Running quite stable at all resolutions on an Nvidia Ti4200. All this, and it's free. I honestly can't ask for more. Thanks I.D. You rock.

PS- I pre-ordered Doom3 as a thank you.

I'm quite annoyed, because I bought a new gfx card (a cheap leadtek GF FX5200, not ultra) to get some extra fps. It made almost no difference in linux (maybe 1 or 2 fps), while in windows it made a difference of 10+fps...and not just that, it ran significantly faster with both my old and new cards in windows.

Very annoying, but no-one's been able to tell me why it's running so much slower in Linux.
