Just set up my two other 21" monitors today on my Matrox Parhelia card and played NWN in 2400x600 resolution. I was surprised at how smooth the framerate was! Though I did run into two interesting bugs right off (though whether or not it's due to the beta driver that I have, or the game...) First, the black bar that splits the screen from the shortcuts didn't make it all the way across the third monitor. And Secondly, if I opened the inventory first (on the left monitor) then the character sheet (on the right monitor), the character sheet would be half missing. Simply see through from about where the right edge of the character portrait on. Everything below the character pic is there, just nothing to the right of it. On the other hand if I do it reversed (open the character sheet, then the inventory) everything displays fine. Thought that was quite odd.

I'll have to test it some more later when I have the time.

i had got nwn as a present;
for sure, i was hesitant.
but curiosity got the best of me
and to try i did with great glee.
a quick install, a quick peek
and then i noticed a great leak.
its was going so fast, my memory
for sure nwn it must be.
deftly i began, first with a sigkill
but then i began to feel quite ill.
first the game went blew it
then x decided to go with it.
in great haste i tried to halt the panic,
by now ive grown quite manic.
then everything grew quiet
and on the vc was a riot:

"Go back to windoze you looser,
for sure you are just a user.
More timely ported games exist,
why give me a twist?
now i shall slay you two,
for the hatred of your linux foo.

Of a high-pitched turbine whining sound
The processers were smoking
the heat sinks were hot
The case fans were giving it all that they got!
The GeForce was smoking
The framerate was low
Neverwinter Nights was running quite slow.
