I have play this mod for a few years now and this version is great. Accuracy counts now, much less chance of random headshots than 2.6a, noobs who spray and pray while running and jumping will find they don't hit anything.

Whew! So where is the "email me my password" option on this site? That is sorely needed.

I might have to try this one out. I never liked counterstrike that much, but this one surely deserves a test at least. I'm more into fortress mods, like custom tf for quakeforge or megatf - those work with Linux last time I tried. I have played Q3F occasionally, but just never got into it much yet, whereas I still sometimes play Team Fortress Classic on those rare occasions when I boot up windos for some reason ( like to play Fallout Tactics ).

I guess it would be nice to have an alpha port, but nice for who? I can't play this on my 8 way powerpc mainframe either, but you don't see me bitching. Get a commodity computer. Or don't- I'd like to say I care, but you already know what I'm going to say.

Alpha=Dead. The Sun is literally setting. In the server room and on the desktop. People are migrating off. 64 bit is now mainstream and sold el cheapo via AMD. And they smoke alpha's. It's all commodity now man. Would be nice if they released the source, but you know, it's their game. And as much as I like Dusenburg's, ain't nobody gonna start making NO2 tanks for it cause it used to be something. That's just the way it works. Such is life.

Should a pro-gamer be able to spell the word "really" since pro implies professional?

Q: Why should we ask ID Software to GPL the Quake3 engine?
A: Because ID Software has GPL'd their previous works, with exception to game data, and asking them for a GPL Quake3 engine would imply that many people care about extending, optimizing, porting, or playing Quake3.

Q: Why should we? We want Doom3 to be GPL.
A: Shutup you Stinking Turd(TM)! I WANT QUAKE3 TO RUN ON MY ALPHA! I MOVED FROM A DUAL PENTION PRO SYSTEM ONTO A 64BIT ALPHA AND I'M NOT GOING BACK IN TIME TO PLAY QUAKE3 ON A LOWLY PENTIUM4 OR ATHLON SYSTEM. ALPHA IS WHERE IT'S AT! 64BIT D00DZ!

I swear, even if someone uses the term "Urban Terror" right before the acronym "UT" I still think it means Unreal Tournament.

UT = Unreal Tournament. Bah!
