Geezus. Grow up kids. Transgaming is a company and they're in business. Sure, their primary market was Linux at one point, but that doesn't mean that they're exclusively Linux. Much as I love Linux, one has to wonder if there is really that much of a games market. Maybe Transgaming had to take Mac porting contracts to keep the money coming in, since most Linux users (myself included) would rather download stuff for free than pay for it.

Just because TG is porting Mac games doesn't mean they're ignoring Linux or are somehow a bunch of traitors to the platform. Think of it this way: The Mac stuff pays the bills while they continue to work on WineX for Linux.

Thats ridiculous, they dont have to make a special beta, their product IS beta. It's alwways been like this with transgaming, you pay for a broken product with the esperance that someday it will be good.

What can you see from those reports? They dont have a clue on how to support directx 9. I'll will be like this with every revision.

I subscribed early on hoping it would get better and it does play some games but Counter Strike and TFC still suck under winex, my subscription will run out next week and I really feel like I didn't get anything out of the years worth that I purchased up front allready.. I going to stick to Native Linux games and I'm still going to keep rebooting to play Counter Strike..

so what they're saying is that you need to not only subscribe to get regular releases, but now you need to apply and hope you get accepted to get more frequent updates...

stupid.
