		<description><![CDATA[Why is it that Epic does not simply release the source code to Unreal I and, optionally, UT as well?
There are plenty of other companies who&#039;ve done it before; even UT is what, 3 or 4 years old now; there are sequels to both by now.

It&#039;s nice to have _someone_ maintain UT, but there are plenty of other platforms besides win32 and linux x86. My fastest x86 is only my third fastest computer at all, behind an alpha and a ppc.
I own both Unreal, the Na Pali mission pack and UT, but if Epic doesn&#039;t care about giving people a chance to port their games to less popular platforms I see little need to keep buying new Epic games such as UT2K3.]]></description>
