Version 5.0.1 of the Mesa 3D graphics library has been released; changes in this version are primarily fixes bugs found in version 5.0.

I remember something about Mesa following the version of OpenGL 1.x where x would be the major number of Mesa.
So is this 5.0.1 release equal to OpenGL 2.0, or 1.4 or 1.5?
