LGP Game Dev Members
March 18th, 2003 by AlkiniLGP has chosen the final eight members for the “from-scratch developmentproject,” orthe dev company as it’s being called for now. The members arethe winners of the 2k-submission contest (previous news). Their submissions can be found at www.linuxgamepublishing.com/2k. The members of the project/company are:

This seems to be a good basis for a group. I hope they can make a killer game that makes win32 users drool!

I think there should be a graphic artist on the team. I would guess that the current team could translate the artwork to computer artwork, but it is important to have this person.
Too bad Icculus could not also get involved. Not to say that this team is incapable, but Icculus has worked on many commercial ports and it seems to reason his experience would be valuable.

These people are talented; I wish them all the best :D I think whatever they make they are guaranteed sales from the Linux community. If they can make something very special then they’ll make a killing on Windows too (and MAC).

1. It has to be multiplayer over the net/lan etc
2. It has to be multiplatform
