A Tale in the Desert Client Released

eGenesis has released a native Linux client for A Tale in the Desert(screenshots). ATITD is an MMORPG in which your goals are to”advance in the seven disciplines,” and manage your your financial empire.The client is free, but the cost of playing is $13.95/month. There is a 24-hour (over multiple sittings) trial available.

    Apparently the eighth discipline you have to work at is getting the thing to run. I have not advanced very far in this dicipline at all.

    I seek always to reduce my monthly bills. I’d rather pay a flat fee for something and forget it than have to constantly deduct for something. I’m sure that this is a really cool game and all, but I won’t be playing it.
